Basic information
The central office of the National Network for Rural Development (NRDN) - NRDN Unit is established within the Agency for Rural Development in Nitra. There are 4 employees working within the Unit of NRDN whose main tasks are the implementation of nationwide activities such as website NNRD, national conferences, national seminars for Leader, collection and promotion of good practise, coordination of activities at the regional level, support the preparation and implementation of project cooperation in under Axis 4 Leader, editing of publications, collecting and providing of information about the implementation of the PRD SR 2007 – 2013, promotion of NNRD and its activities, liaison with the European Network for Rural Development.
Activities
The annual work program of activities of the National Network for Rural Development for 2009 was approved by the Decision-making Committee for Technical Assistance operations on 24th November 2008. Main tasks of NRDN are:
1. Seminars / workshops / conferences
- Organization of nationwide conference of NNRD – introducing of the NRDN Unit, regional offices, plan of activities, contacts with beneficiaries
- Organization of nationwide conference for Leader
2. Promotion of NRDN, publications, website
- Creating of NRDN website which will serve to promote activities of NRDN, providing the latest information on its activities as well as the RDP SR 2007 – 2013, information on options for cooperation for LAGs at national and international level, examples of good practices in implementing the RDP SR 2007 – 2013, etc.
- Promotion of NRDN – via the printed materials, participation in exhibitions (Agrokomplex 2009, the European Network for Rural Development, etc.))
